Check-mate

Checks and tartan.... at first I was a little sceptical of this trend, thinking that it looked a bit too Braveheart for my liking but I have definitely warmed to it.
I think they're perfect for Autumn and you can go subtle, such as the cardigan shown below with elbow patches or go full on and go for something like the shorts!
