The Liebster Award

This is my first ever blog award! I would like to say a massive thankyou to Abbey from  http:/www.dippyblue.blogspot.co.uk go and check out her blog! To qualify for this award you have to be nominated by someone and also have less than 200 followers. You then create a blogpost whereby you do the following things:
1. State 11 facts about yourself.
2. Answer the 11 questions that the person who nominated you gave you.
3. Nominate 11 bloggers.
4. And finally, create 11 questions for the people who you have nominated to answer.

So here are my eleven facts!
- My mum is Filipino so I'm half Filipino in her side..
- I'm Grade 8 on the violin and have played for 7 years.
- I was born in Scotland and lived there until I was six years old, I currently live in England.
- I'm really really impatient.
- My favourite ever song is either Re:Stacks by Bon Iver or Dissolve Me by alt-J.
- My favourite colour is either red or royal blue.
- My favourite TV show is How I Met Your Mother (sad that it's coming to an end :( )
- I'm actually a bit of a nerd, I play a lot of video games and it's something that really interests me.
- I can't drive....yet.
- When I was younger I wanted to be a writer.
- My favourite scent is vanilla.

My questions from Abbey
1. What is your favourite place to be and why?
My favourite place is cheesy as hell. It's this rock which overlooks this lake near where I live and it's absolutely beautiful. I like it there because it's really peaceful and reminds me of summer.

2. What is your beauty essential and why?
My beauty essential has to be a good concealer. I think that concealer is an absolute staple if you're like me and have a lot of imperfections and dark circles.

3. If you had to choose one colour to wear this season what would it be and why?
Dark blue, I think it suits my hair colour and skin tone really well plus it can be casual or dressed up for things like Christmas parties.

4. If you could visit any place in the world where and why?
I really really want to go to America, either Los Angeles or New York. I just think that it looks like an incredible place and I hope to go one day!

5. What are a few items on your christmas list this year?
Sadly, my Sennheiser headphones died after 3 years of use in the summer so I'm hoping for a new pair for Christmas.

6. What is your favourite thing you own and why?
My camera. It's the most expensive thing I own (apart from my laptop and violin) and I really make sure to look after it because it is very precious to me. I use it almost every day and it goes pretty much everywhere with me.

7. Where would you like to end up in 10 years time?
In ten years I will be 28, so I would love to have a stable job that I love and perhaps be thinking about starting a family.

8. What made you start blogging and why?
My friends were getting sick of me talking about fashion and makeup all the time so I started up a blog as somewhere to talk about things that interest me :)

9. What's the craziest thing you've ever done?
Craziest thing I've ever done....hmmm. I've done some downright stupid things which border on craziness such as accepting a lift to the train station when I was lost in another town once (do not ever do that, things turned out fine for me but it's the stupidest thing I've ever done and I'm very lucky that nothing happened to me.) I'm not very exciting really, I did go to a music festival very last minute when my friend got two free tickets. And I mean last minute, it was half past 5 on the Sunday but it was good fun!

10. Summer or Winter and why?
Winter! I always overheat too much in Summer but I like getting wrapped up with a scarf and a cute pair of gloves. Plus I love waking up on a frosty morning as everything is so pretty.

11. What your favourite item in your wardrobe?
A petrol blue shirt I bought from H&M as it's such a beautiful bright colour (outfit post coming soon!)

Now for the 11 bloggers that I nominate:

1. What would you tell your 13 year old self?
2. What is your dream job?
3. Biggest makeup mistake?
4. Most embarrassing moment?
5. If you could dye your hair and it wouldn't be damaged , what colour would you dye it?
6. Favourite ever book?
7. What celebrity do you most look like?
8. What's one thing you really want to do before you die?
9. What is your favourite animal?
10. Favourite food?
11. If you could meet one person, who would it be?

So that's my post on the Liebster award! Thankyou again to Abbey for nominating me!

#ArtistOfTheWeek 1 Orla Gartland

I found this artist through a friend last summer and her work is absolutely incredibly. Yeah, she makes some funny faces when she sings but it adds to her character. Orla Gartland is an Irish singer, aged 18 who has just released her first EP for only £1.79 (available here) and it's fully worth the small amount of money. She's built up her career through YouTube, really showing how powerful the network is. She both sings covers of songs as well her own music which she has written. Here are some of my favourite songs that she's performed:

Orla Gartland - Empty Man

Orla Gartland - Human

Orla Gartland - A Case of You (Joni Mitchell Cover)

Hope you enjoyed! If you have any music suggestions leave them in the comment section below :)

The Mallzee App Review

I signed up to The Blogger Programme a few weeks ago and was excited to find a message in my inbox earlier today!
The message was from Mallzee asking if I would like to have a look at their app and tell them what I think, so here's my run down!

Pros:

- Firstly, it's free. It doesn't cost a penny which is great!
- Very simple and pretty design. Mainly white, black and a pale green which go perfectly together.
- It doesn't make you sign into Facebook. With apps like Candy crush forcing you to sign into Facebook to progress, it's nice to see an app which doesn't force you into sharing.
- Brief tutorial at the beginning. Explains the simple controls such as double tapping to save, pinching to minimize and share by holding down. The simple controls are also a pro!
- Picks the brands you want to see. Offers high street companies such as Miss Selfridge, ASOS and Accessorize as well as smaller brands such as ikrush and Pull&Bear (who had an advert in this month's ASOS mag).
- Gives you the ability to hunt by item and colour. Highly useful if you want a specific item in a specific colour, such as a red dress.
- Easy to browse through items. Just pull down to scroll down the page.
- Easy to purchase. Just tap the items, tap buy, it takes you to the clothing site and you go from there as normal!
- Puts everything in one place. It makes it easier to compare between items by using the save feature which is useful as you can essentially bookmark the items you like.

Cons:

- Bit slow at first. When I first started using the app it could be a bit slow to load up the search and save features, however this does improve the more you use it.
- Some of the items either didn't load or took a long time. One example of this is a pair of Cath Kidston pajamas, it kept saying "The page you have requested is loading - redirecting" however it never loaded.

Summary:
It's a free app and it's quite a small download file (8.6mb). Worth downloading to see what shops have in stock and useful for hunting down items. Easy to use, but a little slow at first.

Find them on the appstore or through their website: http://mallzee.com/

#BritishBloggerSelection Week 4 - Favourite Makeup Brand

So this week for the #BritishBloggerSelection the theme is our favourite makeup brand. I have to say that my favourite brand, by far, is Rimmel. I think that they really bring it when it comes to makeup products. These are some of my picks from the brand.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Nail Polish in Double Decker £2.99
I love this nail polish, it's a vibrant red that really stands out. The lasting power on it is excellent.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation in True Ivory 103 £7.99
At first I hated this foundation, but then I tried using it with my Real Techiques Expert Face Brush and I absolutely fell in love with it. It leaves an airbrushed finish with a medium to high coverage. It doesn't cling to dry patches if you don't lay a powder over the top and it does last all day. Perf.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Paint in Golden Bronze £4.99This is such a beautiful colour and the staying power is fantastic. I know that Lily from http://www.lilypebbles.co.uk/ is a massive fan of this eyeshadow paint. It can be applied straight onto the lid and left for a thicker finish, but if you want a more sheer finish or to use it as a base you can use a brush to blend it out. I once used this on my lips actually for a fancy dress party and it gave my lips a kind of gold foil effect.

Rimmel Apocolips Lip Lacquer in Big Band £5.99
Everyone raves about this and a few months ago I decided to jump on the bandwagon and pick one up to see what all the fuss was about. And I have to say that all the hype about this is just. It's a lovely colour, it's not too matte and not too glossy. The staying power is decent and it's not vastly expensive. It comes in a wide selection of colours but I picked up the bright red as it's the colour I turn to most. I love this product and I recommend that you pick it up!

So those are my picks from the Rimmel brand! Hope you enjoyed this post :) if you have any product suggestions leave them in the comments below!

Garnier Sleek and Shine 5 in 1 Serum Spray Review

I want to love this, I really do. But I can't because it's just a bad product for me. Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful idea - the concept of a spray on serum is amazing. It's also super easy and takes no time at all, just spray it on and brush it out.
But, I don't know if I'm just not brushing it out properly, if I'm applying too much or what. But it just looks awful. It makes my hair look greasy, as though I haven't washed the ends of my hair in weeks and it's horrible. I found that it smoothed down my flyaways for about ten minutes, after that my hair was back to it's usual mess. There was a shine, but it wasn't exactly healthy as it was just a greasy sort of sheen. And at £3.89 it's not exactly that cheap.

Before using the product.

After using the product. My fly-aways still aren't hugely smoothed down.

My hair here looks kind of clumped together and a little greasy after using the product.

Summary: I feel let down by this product, I advise you not to waste your money on this.

#OOTD Cryin' Lightning

This is a dress which I purchased from ASOS back in August. It's originally made by BamBam and I bought it in the ASOS sale for £20.

(excuse the vodka and messy hair... I had just turned 18)

A close up of the dress (excuse my bum)

Dress: ASOS / / Bambam £20 (from August 2013)
Jacket: Miss Selfridge Faux Leather Hood £59.00 (bought last year on sale for £25)
Bracelets: On the right wrist - Next (no longer available) and on the left wrist - Claires.

I actually wore this dress a few months ago. I was given it as a gift for my 18th Birthday and wore it to my hipster-themed (yeaaaaah) birthday party. It's a very soft, stretchy fabric with a stunning print on it. It's genuinely one of my favourite dresses and it can also be paired with a black skater skirt for a more toned down look.
Edit: I found these leggings from Romwe which have a similar print on them, so if you like this dress you may like these leggings!
So that's my first ever #OOTD. Hope you enjoyed!

Nail Of The Day #1 - Collection Gothic Glam Deadly

I've really been loving nail polish recently and as a consequence I've bought a few. This polish being one of them. This is part of the Gothic Glam range by Collection and it's a gorgeous dark gold. It looks as though you have painted a gold glitter over a black base and I absolutely love this. It's perfect for any Christmas parties coming up!

Pros:
- It's a really lovely colour and it looks quite elegant on the nails. It looks so good when it catches the light.
- Reasonably cheap at £3.19 and available at Superdrug and Boots.
- Quite a thick formula, so two coats are enough to create a solid finish.
- A large bottle, so getting a lot for your money.
- Reasonably fast drying.

Cons:
- The brush is really quite thick which makes applying it quite difficult and messy.
- Obviously as it's a glitter polish it's quite difficult to remove, but you kinda can predict that.
- One of the nails has chipped quite badly after 2 days, however the rest are fine.

In conclusion, this is a lovely nail polish with a reasonable lasting time. If you have £3.20 to spare you might as well give it a try!

Sweater Weather Tag

Hey guys! So Autumn is well and truly here, all the leaves are brown and the sky is grey (points to you if you get the reference!) and when BeautyCrush did this tag on her YouTube channel and tagged everyone watching, I decided to join in the fun.

QUESTIONS:

1. Favorite Fall lip product?
I'm going to have to say the Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy because it's getting to the point where it's chilly and my lips are drying out, so this is great as it's both moisturising and slightly tinted. Plus it's only £1.99!

2. Favorite Fall Nail Polish?
At the moment, it's the Barry M Matt Nail Polish in Nude Vanilla because it's such a lovely colour. I think it's a little different as it's not the classic berry colour and it's also a different texture to the classic glossy finish which mixes it up a little.

3. Favorite Fall Candle?
I'm not too fussy on my candles and as I'm on a massive budget I can't really afford the Yankee Candles (sadface for Beth :( ) but I do absolutely love the £2 massive jar candles from Morrisons. My favourite scent at the minute is the Apple and Blackberry spice one, if you have a Morrisons near you it's worth picking up as it's a lovely scent and the burn time is ridiculously long!

4. Favorite Fall Scent or Perfume?
I love everything with vanilla in at this time of year, it's not strictly an autumnal scent but I love it so much.

5. Favorite Fall Drink?
I do love the Gingerbread Lattes from Starbucks however a cafe near me does Gingerbread Milkshakes and they are sooo good, they're really frothy and such a lovely taste.

6. Favorite Fall Scarf or accessory?
It has to be my £4 Primark scarf which everyone has at the moment, it's really soft and surprisingly warm as it's quite thin!

7. Favorite Fall Hair Style?
I don't mind having my hair down because it keeps my neck warm, so I love really big curls in my hair.

8. Favorite Fall Activity?
Having the fire lit, sitting in front of it in my onesie and watching a film... I don't get out much.

9. What is your Favorite thing about Fall?
There's just something so beautiful about sunsets in Autumn, they just seem so much prettier with the orange leaves on the trees and the chill in the air.

10. Best Fall Memory?
My best fall memory is probably when we went to my friend's house for Halloween and played Hide and Seek in his house with the power off, it was a ridiculous amount of fun.

11. Hottest Fall Trend?
I really love the dark lip trend, I think they look so good!

12. Tag 4 Favorite Bloggers!
I tag everyone who is reading this! But, I tag:
- Rosaline from http://www.beautyinhisname.blogspot.co.uk/
- Alice from http://whatalicewore.blogspot.co.uk/
- Blooming Beauty from http://bloomingbeautyy.blogspot.co.uk/
- And Beyond from http://beyondbally.blogspot.co.uk/

So those are my answers to the sweater weather tag. If you do the tag too, link it in the comment section below so I can check it out!

#BritishBloggerSelection Favourite Clothes Shop

Week three of the #BritishBloggerSelection posts!

Hands down, my favourite clothes shop is H&M. I can't help it, I just love their clothes. I've found recently that New Look prices have been growing and I just don't like the clothes as much, but H&M consistently release clothes that I love and that are of a decent quality.
I've picked out some of my favourites that are on the online shop at the minute, hope you like!

So those are my picks from the H&M online store. What's your favourite clothes shop? Leave a comment below!

MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter

FAST REVIEW

Hey guys! I'm going to try and do a review in under 100 words! Hereeee we go!

I like this, it's highly pigmented. It looks nice on my skin. It's only £3 for 7.5g. It's available in Superdrug. It's not pure white, it has a slightly pink tone to it so it looks a little more natural. The packaging is nice and minimal.
But, it is very shimmery. Don't apply too much otherwise you'll look like you're sweating glitter. If you smell it very closely, it smells like play-doh. Weird.

Swatch without flash.
Swatch with flash

In conclusion, I do recommend this product! I will include it in a makeup look to show you the full effects soon!

How I Cope With The Dreaded Pains

I apologise deeply if period talk weirds you out, but it's going to be one of those posts today, fellows.
Not all girls get period pains, and that's okay. But I am one of the unlucky who do get them so I thought that I would share with you how I tend to cope with them. Bear in mind that this is what works for me, there's absolutely no guarantee that it would also work for you but I thought it might be helpful for me to share this anyway!

1. Pain Relief Medication. I tend to use Feminax (pricey) but if I don't have any of that to hand, I will go with Ibuprofen. I used to use Paracetamol but recently I've turned to ibuprofen and I personally, tend to find it more effective. Obviously don't use it if you're allergic to it or intolerant to it or anything, but that's what tends to work for me. Also don't go crazy and overdose on it. Stick to the recommended dosage, kids!

2. Exercise. I know that you don't want to move, but trust me, exercise really does tend to help. Even just a fifteen minute walk, or going for a jog. Obviously don't force yourself to run a marathon every time it's that time of the month, just light exercise is perfect!

3. Avoid caffeine. This one really breaks my heart, I am an avid tea drinker but it just makes my cramps so much worse. I don't know what it is, but after having a cup of tea it makes me feel worse. So, during these times I tend to stick to hot chocolate or Horlicks to still have the comfort of holding a warm mug when I feel horrendous.

4. Take your mind off it. Easier said than done, I know. But read a book, watch some tv, do some cooking, do some exercise, draw. Whatever it takes. I find that if I'm distracted and entertained I don't even notice my cramps.

5. Hot Water Bottles. These should be your best friend when you have cramps. I tend to use those beanie bag things you get inside teddy bears and that you heat up in the microwave. Sadly, I no longer know where the bear is but I just apply the bag to my abdomen and lie down, chill out and listen to some music.

6. Eat. If you can, try and eat well. Lots of fruits and vegetables, you know. But treats are allowed. I personally get massive cravings for cake and chocolate. Even though you may not feel like eating, eat. It'll make you feel a hell of a lot better.

7. Shower. Everyone tells you to take a bath, but er. No thanks, mate. Just take a long, very warm shower. Use this as your time to apply the hair masks that take a really long time, have some Norah Jones on in the background. Sing.

8. Avoid alcohol. Don't do it, you'll then have cramps and a hangover to deal with and that is just horrendous. It's the absolute worst, take my word on this.

Those are my methods of dealing with period cramps, I hope they've helped in some way and I've not weirded you out!

Barry M Matte Nail Paint in Vanilla

Okay, so I picked this up today in Superdrug as they had a 3 for 2 deal across all cosmetics. I love painting my nails, but I find that it does tend to make them very brittle if I have polish on them continuously for over a fortnight so I try not to paint them too often. As a result of this, I really go for it when I do paint them. I tend to go for very bold colours such as bright reds, blues and metallics. So, I thought that I would mix it up a little bit and go for a nail polish in more of a nude shade. I love this, it's a beautiful greyish/nude/purpley colour and I think that it just makes my nails look so elegant. I love the texture of the polish as well, it's a bit different from normal glossy nail polish colours and it's very on trend. I think I will definitely be picking up this polish in more shades.

As you can see, I'm not the best at painting my nails, they are quite messy. But I do really love this polish. My only dislike is that it doesn't have an entirely smooth texture as it's a very thick consistency. But that only really shows when you look very closely at your nails. Otherwise, I really recommend it!
Have you tried this product? What do you thin? Leave a comment below!

How I Store My Jewellery

Over the years I have collected what I would refer to as "a decent chunk of jewellery." It tends to be the perfect gift to someone for their birthdays, for Christmases, whatever. As a result of this I have hoarded a large amount of bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Sadly, I am lacking in the ring department but I plan on changing this over the coming season with a trip to the Primark jewellery section. My jewellery used to just be in a massive knot on my bookshelf but I recently took steps to organise it properly and prevent it from tangling up. As a result of this I've found that I don't tend to lose jewellery anymore!

This lovely jewellery box was a gift from my friend which she brought back from rome. It's such a beautiful pattern on the top and it is the perfect solution to storing my earrings. I cut out small squares of paper out of a university prospectus (this counts as recycling, right?) and just pierced my earrings through the paper. This stops me having to rummage around trying to find pairs.

I've used this little basket thing to store all of my bracelets in. I tend to keep my most worn nearer the top, and the bangles all in a section at the side.

My mum found this lovely necklace stand in a charity shop for £1.50 and so gifted it to me. I use this to store jewellery which gets tangled really easily and that I don't wear too often.
I've used a coffee cup to store the pitiful amount of rings that I own. I think it looks cute. For the small amount of rings that I own, this works perfectly.
My friends are very well travelled and over the summer two of them went to India and brought me back this beautifully patterned little wooden box. I use this to keep all of my ear cuffs in as I like to keep them separate from my main earrings collection.
I bought this shelf from B&Q for something ridiculously cheap like £3, I then attached hooks to front of it so that I could hang my necklaces from it. It's quite sturdy and manages to hold the amoutn of weight that I currently have on it, but I don't know if it would manage to hold anything too heavy. Especially seeing as the wall that it is attatched too isn't a solid wall. But I like to keep my jewellery by the door so that when I'm running out the house I can just grab it.

Finally, I just have little trinket boxes to store misc. stuff such as collars and broken bits of jewellery. I've even used an old tin which held the rosin that I used to use on my bow when I played the violin.

So that's how I store my jewellery! As I said, I keep it by my door so that it's easily accessible. I don't have that much jewellery but I love what I do have. I hope this has maybe given you some inspiration or ideas :)

#BritishBloggerSelection

This is my first #BritishBloggerSelection post! This week it's a Q&A/About Me Interview!
Question One: Why do you like blogging?
I like blogging because it gives me the opportunity to talk about something that really interests me. It also gives me an excuse to spend my time looking at new makeup releases, trying them out as well as working on my poor fashion sense!

Question Two: How did you come up with your blog name?My full name is actually Elizabeth, but people refer to me as Beth. I thought Beth's Secret sounded pretty cool.
Question Three: Where from the UK do you come from?
I was born in Scotland, lived there for until I was six before moving to a place near Newcastle. We lived there for five years, but now we live in an impossibly rural county called Cumbria. Think rain. Lots of rain. Too much rain.

Question Four: Favourite colour?
I'm always torn over this question. It's definitely between a royal blue and a bright red. If I had a choice of a dress that was red or a dress that was a royal blue, I would probably go for the red one though!

Question Five: Do you like Lana Del Rey?
I love Lana Del Rey. I think her work is absolutely incredible. If you like her, you should definitely check out London Grammar. Especially their song "Wasting My Young Years."

Question Six: Hidden Talents That You Have?
I played the violin for seven years and got up to Grade 8. However, because I was finishing up sixth form and I had exams and everything I haven't played in a while which makes me quite sad :(

Question Seven: Celebrity Crush?
Robert Sheehan. If you've seen the first or second series of Misfits, he's in that and he is absolutely hilarious. He also starred in the Mortal Instruments film that came out recently and he is gorgeous in that nerdy/funny kind of way.

Question Eight: Favourite Blog Of All Time?
In terms of fashion, I would have to say What Alice Wore as I absolutely love her style. I really like the way that she pieces together items and her general fashion taste.
In terms of makeup, I completely trust Miss Budget Beauty's opinion. She gives honest reviews and they do tend to be of a more budget friendly nature.

Question Nine: What made you want to join #BritishBloggerSelection?
The opportunity to be in a group of bloggers is great. I also loved the idea of themed posts as I do worry about writer's block!

Next week the theme is: Week 3 - Favourite Clothes Shop, so watch out for that!

Check-mate

Checks and tartan.... at first I was a little sceptical of this trend, thinking that it looked a bit too Braveheart for my liking but I have definitely warmed to it.
I think they're perfect for Autumn and you can go subtle, such as the cardigan shown below with elbow patches or go full on and go for something like the shorts! I love these items, add black boots and thick tights to the outfit and you're good to go! Here are some of my high street favourites from this trend:

So those are my tartan picks, my favourite either has to be the Boohoo dress or the Missguided Playsuit! Which is your favourite?

Bluer than velvet was the night

I love the velvet trend that's going down at the minute. I love the texture of velvet. I love how it adds an edge to an outfit. I love the way it transforms a colour. I just love velvet. However, I have an issue with the material as it tends to start losing it's soft, smooth feel after a few months of washing. I also don't like the idea of velvet shoes as they would get absolutely destroyed in the English Winter from the rain!
But, I've picked out some velvet textured items that I think look absolutely beautiful.

So those are my picks for the velvet trend. I'm thinking that I might pick up one of the Missguided dresses as I think they're beautiful colours and will be perfect for Christmas. What do you guys think?

How I Store My Makeup + Products

I've only recently starting really getting into makeup, so my makeup isn't collection isn't huge. Although, I still do have quite a lot! I've recently re-jigged my room around a lot to try and organise things better and I'm still in the process of doing that however this is currently how I store my makeup and products!

A few years ago I was given this wooden box by a family friend as a Christmas present and I recently realised that I could use it to store my makeup and nail varnish! I found a similar one here, from Ikea for £17 which you could easily paint if you wanted to. I keep this box on my desk

That is where I keep all of my makeup, it's easily within reach from my mirror and I have easy access to everything inside of it. To store the things on the top in I've used mainly empty candle jars as I find that they're the perfect size. However, to store my cotton pads in I'm using an old jar which I washed out thoroughly, I find that it fits quite a lot of the cotton pads in. And to store cotton buds in I'm actually using a cup that I bought from a bathroom shop for £1. In the top drawer I keep the things I use the most, such as my eye palettes and powders. My second drawer however is a bit of a mess, in here I keep my lip products and things I don't use as often. I keep my lip products in an amazon delivery box that I cut up which at this time, fits all of my lip things in nicely. In the bottom section of this little set of drawers I keep all of my nail polishes, as I've said, this is currently perfect for the amount of nail polishes that I currently own but I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I purchase more!

Next to my mirror on a small chest of drawers I keep the products that I tend to use quite often and therefore need easy access to. I also keep my candles on here so that they don't take up any room on my desk and I have more space. So on here I keep things like makeup remover, the moisturisers I'm using at the minute, heat defence spray, moisturisers and deodorant.

These final two pictures show the products that I tend to either not use as often or that I grab when I'm running out the door. This is also where I store my jewellery which I'll do a blogpost on soon! In the wicker basket I keep things such as moisturisers which I rarely ever use, but next to that I keep things such as dry shampoo and spare deodorant which I do sometimes use, just not as frequently as the things next to my mirror. I also keep my perfumes and body sprays here as it's convenient to have them right next to the door so I can grab them as I'm running out the house. This is also the darkest area of my room so my perfumes aren't in direct sunlight. I also keep things like chewing gum, little bottles of moisturiser and a spare mirror here just so I can remember to take them when I'm going out the house.

So this is how I store my makeup and products at the moment! This will probably change in a few months as I'm going to be moving house within the next 6 months so when things do change I will do a new post!
